Moto trip to Austria – Day 5 (THE DAY)

AT LAST – The Glockner! The day started with “let me check the oil level and forget to screw the lid on”, lucky we didn’t lose it 🙂 And away we go, stopped midway to the site seeing point (Edelweißspitze, gift shop of some sort) – super scary with high elevation and stone road for the last bit… Sketchy AF, glad it wasn’t raining 🙂 A tunnel through the mountain, snow, up and down and then to the Grossglockner (Elevation: 3,798 m)! Massive attraction point, crowds of motorcyclists and cars, full parking and cafeteria but we made it 🙂 I would say the view at Edelweißspitze was more impressive though… Ice cream and some lemonade later – headed to the night spot. Whiskey and beer here I come 😀
